Why am I losing my hair? What are the causes? What are not?
Men lose their hair due to genetic predisposition. Just like other characteristics such as hair and eye color, height and facial features, which are passed on from parents, hair loss is the same. Contrary to conventional wisdom that it is passed on from father to son, 70% of men's hair loss is due to maternal genes (mother). A good barometer would be looking at uncles and grandfathers on the mother side. What do not cause hair loss are misconceptions such as, wearing a hat, hair hygiene, or other external factors.

How can I stop losing hair?
You can slow down hair loss with medications such as Rogaine, Propecia and non-medical topical solutions such as Revivogen, to suppress DHT formation on your scalp and the latest Laser Hair Growth Treatment. These treatments also help re-grow new hair in areas that is in the process of loosing hair. It will not re-grow all your back mostly it is not enough growth to make a big difference. Medical science does not have a cure for complete stop or reversal of hair loss and ultimately genetic predisposition will cause more hair loss which will lead to baldness of different degree. The available treatments will drastically reduce the rate of loss, and postpone baldness.

What choices do I have in treating hair loss? Is there a way I could have all my hair back?
There are 3 main solutions. 1. Medical and topical treatments such as Rogaine, Propecia, A DHT suppressant like Revivogen and Laser Hair Therapy. 2. Surgical option of hair transplantation, which is surgical removal of hair from back areas and transplanting it in areas of loss and 3. Non-surgical Hair Replacement, Hair Grafts, Hair Integration and other techniques of adding human hair to existing hair. Due to limitations in the first two options, non-surgical hair restoration is the only treatment that will give you as much or as little hair as needed with immediate results.

What are the limitations of the treatment options?
Medical and topical treatments have limited results; which takes time and mainly offers to slow down hair loss and/or grow limited amount of hair. Ultimately genetic predisposition will have its effects. Surgical hair transplantation is best option for those with minimal to moderate hair loss. Not all the transplanted hair will grow out when transplanted and as hair loss progresses more procedures will be needed. The techniques have improved drastically and the results are more natural looking, however those will advance of hair loss will not be satisfied with the results. Non-surgical hair restoration does not have any limitation for the amount of desired hair.
